Steel core PTFE gasket

Teflon gaskets, manufactured using a unique process, can provide a level of fibrillation to overcome the creep relaxation and cold flow problems associated with ordinary (scraped or molded) Teflon plates. It is made of pure polytetrafluoroethylene resin filled with hollow glass microspheres.

 
Teflon gaskets are mainly cut from some PTFE rods and tubes. After cutting, they are shaped like flat gaskets or V-shaped gaskets, and some are cut into piston rings, which have good properties such as corrosion resistance and non-conductivity.

Use of Teflon Gasket
